Meet our doctors:

Dr. Derek and Dr. Liz met during Dr. Liz’s second year of residency. Their dream was to work together caring for patients. The doctors are extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve the Sanford community and to be a part of it. Together, they have two young children, Kendra and Alexandra, as well as two dogs, Cooper and Sammy. They enjoy going on adventures as a family here in Maine and abroad.

Dr. Derek Jones

Dr. Derek graduated from the University of Connecticut of Dental Medicine and continued in his residency at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut. He has always gravitated toward science and has a curious nature. He wants to know how things work; to build and to repair them. Dentistry satisfies that nature and creates a connection with patients.

Dr. Elizabeth Jones

Dr. Liz graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine and continued in her residency at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut, serving as chief resident during her second year. She thoroughly enjoys caring for people and understanding their thoughts as well as their concerns. She wants to ensure her patients that their dental care will be comfortable.
